Apple has sued technology leaker Jon Prosser for alleged theft of trade secrets related to iOS 26.
Prosser allegedly assigned another person, Michael Ramacciotti, to secretly access an Apple employee's under-development iPhone and use that information to report on Apple's planned changes to the then-unannounced iOS 26.
As reported by The Verge, Friday (18/7) local time, Apple claimed that Prosser offered Ramacciotti compensation in the form of money or future job opportunities to gain access to the company's cellphone belonging to his friend, Ethan Lipnik, an Apple software engineer who works on iOS.
