Netflix stated that it also follows industry and technology trends and acknowledged that it has used generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI/Gen AI) in creating its shows and films.

This was revealed by Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos in a company conference call that mentioned the emergence of the first GenAI-powered footage airing on the service.

As reported by TechCrunch, Friday (18/7), the recording made using GenAI was featured in an Argentinian show entitled "El Eternauta" ("The Eternal One").
