The Israeli Knesset (parliament) is scheduled to vote later Monday on a resolution calling for the expulsion of Arab member of the left-wing Hadash-Ta'al party, Ayman Odeh, over a blog post he published on the X platform in which he called for "liberating the two peoples from the yoke of occupation and releasing prisoners and detainees."
The left-wing newspaper Haaretz jumped to Odeh's defense and criticized the voting process in an editorial. It also published an article by Ayman Odeh himself, in which he opened fire on all sides, accusing everyone of complicity—excluding, of course, the Palestinian people, Israeli Arabs , and the families of Israeli prisoners.
