Ben Healy won the sixth stage of the Tour de France in Normandy on Thursday with a solo break, while Mathieu van der Poel reclaimed the overall leader's yellow jersey by just one second.
Starting this stage from sixth position, Van der Poel displaced Tadej Pogacar, who had previously led, to return to the top of the standings, as quoted from the official Tour de France website.
Healy became the first Irish rider to win a stage in the Tour de France since Sam Bennett achieved the same feat on the Champs Elysees in 2020.
US national champion Quinn Simmons finished second, while Michael Storer gave Team Tudor its first Tour de France podium thanks to a third-place finish.
