TikTok owner ByteDance is reportedly planning to move users in the United States to a new version of CapCut, the company's video editing app, according to a report from Business Insider.
Quoted from TechCrunch, the launch of this special application for the US market is said to be part of ByteDance's efforts to comply with the 2024 Law.
The law requires the Chinese company to divest its ownership of TikTok and its US assets, or face a ban on operations in the country.
