Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that President Prabowo Subianto led a limited meeting attended by seven coordinating ministers and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi on the sidelines of the President's visit to Brussels, Belgium.
In the limited meeting via video conference, the President received reports from several of his ministers regarding the progress of the implementation of the government's priority programs, including the People's School and the Red and White Cooperative.
"In the limited meeting held at 5:00 p.m. WIB, President Prabowo discussed various matters related to the coordination areas of each minister, including: the government's commitment to law enforcement in Indonesia, the development of the People's School program, and the progress of the Red and White Cooperative initiative," said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya when contacted in Jakarta on Saturday.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy, who accompanied President Prabowo on his overseas visit to Brussels, also attended the limited meeting.
In the same limited meeting, the President and the Red and White Cabinet ministers also discussed the government's preparedness in facing extreme weather, particularly that occurring in DKI Jakarta Province, West Java Province, Banten Province, and other regions.
"(The meeting also discussed, ed.) various other strategic agendas," continued Cabinet Secretary Teddy.
The seven coordinating ministers who attended the limited meeting with the President today were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Law and Human Rights Yusril Ihza Mahendra, and Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar.
In Brussels, which is the headquarters of the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, and the offices of the European Parliament, the President is scheduled to carry out a number of official and state activities.
The President's series of activities in Brussels was in response to invitations from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President António Costa, and Belgian King Philippe Léopold Louis Marie.
