OpenAI revealed that ChatGPT currently receives more than 2.5 billion instructions every day, with around 330 million prompts coming from users in the United States. this data was first reported by Axios and later confirmed by OpenAI spokesperson Rob Friedlander. The calculations show that the artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot receives more than 912.5 billion requests per year.
However, this figure is still far less than the number of search requests received by Google, which reaches 5 trillion per year or the equivalent of almost 14 billion searches per day on average.
