The Ministry of Health stated in its daily statistical report that Gaza Strip hospitals received approximately 93 martyrs and 278 injured people over the past 24 hours. It also noted that a number of victims remain buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings and on the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
She stated that the death toll since the resumption of the war of extermination on March 18, 2025, has risen to 7,656 martyrs and 27,314 wounded, adding that the total death toll from the war of extermination, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, has risen to 85,479 martyrs and 139,355 wounded.
She noted that hospitals in the Gaza Strip also received six martyrs and more than 29 injured people seeking US-Israeli aid during the aforementioned period, indicating that the death toll from this aid has risen to 844 martyrs and more than 5,604 injured since May 27.
Since then, and outside the purview of the United Nations, Israel has begun implementing a scheme to distribute "aid" through the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is supported by the United States and Israel.
A trap to target the hungry
This plan has become a trap for hungry Palestinians, as Israeli soldiers have admitted in media reports that they received orders to fire on crowds of Palestinians waiting for aid, allegedly to disperse them.
On a daily basis, the Israeli occupation army fires on starving people lined up near food distribution centers, leaving them between starvation and being shot, according to the government media office in Gaza.
In the latest Israeli crimes, medical sources reported that two women were killed by Israeli gunfire near a US-Israeli aid distribution center west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Another Palestinian was also killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis.
Gaza City witnessed several Israeli airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians in the Tuffah neighborhood, in addition to the deaths of five Palestinians as a result of targeting a house in the Zarqa neighborhood, northeast of the city.
A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza, and a massacre occurred in the Shati refugee camp in the city's west when an inhabited house was targeted, killing at least five Palestinians and wounding others.
North of Gaza City, a Palestinian woman was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons on Al-Lababidi Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Eyewitnesses reported that several Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of the city.
East of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued to carry out bombings and destruction of homes and facilities, resulting in massive explosions.
Targeting children
For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) estimated that Israel has been killing the equivalent of "an entire school class of children" every day since October 7, 2023, with the number of students in each class ranging from 35 to 45.
“Every day since the beginning of the war in Gaza, an average of an entire school class of children has been killed,” Sam Rose, UNRWA Director of Affairs in Gaza, said in a statement.
Before the outbreak of the genocide, which transformed the majority of UNRWA schools into shelters for displaced persons, the number of students in a class ranged between 35 and 45, depending on the overcrowding in the schools.
Children have paid a heavy price for the genocide Israel has been perpetrating for more than 21 months, during which more than 18,000 children have been killed, with approximately 16,854 of them hospitalized, according to the latest data from the Government Media Office in Gaza.
Children in the Gaza Strip also face a harsh reality due to repeated waves of displacement, as well as hunger and thirst caused by Israel's policy of destroying food and water sources and closing crossings.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with US support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
The genocide, backed by the United States, left more than 197,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and a famine claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
