Al-Shifa Hospital announced the deaths of four Palestinians, including an infant, as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
The Baptist Hospital also announced the martyrdom of two Palestinians and the injury of others, as a result of the bombing that targeted a house next to the Al-Ibki Mosque in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.
This came amid ongoing demolition operations targeting homes and residential buildings in areas east of Gaza City and east of Jabalia camp in the northern governorate.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted a health source at Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp as saying that a number of Palestinians were injured as a result of Israeli shelling targeting the eastern Abu Helu School, which houses displaced persons in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian woman was also killed and others were injured as a result of the bombing of a house in the center of Deir al-Balah.
In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed after being targeted by an Israeli drone near Site 17 on the Khan Yunis-West Rafah road.
In another massacre, a father, mother, and their two children were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city.
Three Palestinians were killed when a tent housing displaced people was targeted near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
A Palestinian was also killed in the Al-Shuhada Mosque area in Khan Yunis, while several others were injured in a bombing of a second tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area.
On Monday, local and medical sources announced the deaths of 62 Palestinians, including an entire family, and the injury of others in Israeli attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to sources, the occupation army's attacks included homes, tents housing displaced persons, a shelter, civilian gatherings, and a civilian vehicle.
Medical clinic closed
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced in a statement on Tuesday that "operations at the society's Al-Zaytoun Medical Clinic in Gaza City have been suspended after shells fell in the area surrounding the clinic, threatening the safety of medical staff and patients."
She explained that the clinic was providing services to "thousands of patients, especially given the overcrowding of the area with displaced people from eastern Gaza after the occupation issued evacuation orders."
She explained that "thousands of citizens will be forced to walk long distances to access healthcare or receive children's vaccinations," noting that the total number of the association's clinics that have been out of service since October 7, 2023, has reached 18, due to Israeli measures and ongoing evacuation orders.
Rejecting relief initiatives
In a related development, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said during a press conference on Monday that one in three people in Gaza has not eaten for days.
Dujarric stressed that "the Israeli authorities must open all crossings to ensure the distribution of humanitarian aid and fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law."
He pointed out that fuel is a "lifeline of hope for survival" in Gaza, calling for it to be allowed to enter without delay.
He stressed that "the Israeli authorities continue to obstruct humanitarian aid initiatives," explaining that they had directly rejected three out of eight relief initiatives from the United Nations on Sunday.
He stressed the need to ensure unhindered and urgent access to aid.
He also stated that 700,000 people have been displaced multiple times in Gaza since Israel violated the ceasefire last March.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
This war left more than 194,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
