The National ICT Entrepreneurs Association (APTIKNAS) has reminded the public to maintain the security of their personal data amidst the recent surge in fraud cases under the guise of fake customer service (CS).
Chairman of the APTIKNAS Cyber Security Vigilance Standing Committee Alfons Tanujaya in Jakarta, Sunday, reminded the public to always double-check the CS number before contacting and not to carelessly provide personal data.
Because when searching for customer service contact numbers for services like banks or airlines, it's not uncommon to find fake ones. Alfons said cybercriminals deliberately spread fake customer service numbers on easily found websites.
