Dewa United Banten coach Pablo Favarel wants his team's players to improve their competitive mentality in order to face the 2025 Indonesian Basketball League semifinals.
According to him, the tension of the game will increase in that phase, because when playing against Hangtuah in the previous round, Anak Dewa had a hard time winning.
"Indeed, we won twice against Hangtuah in the regular season, but in both wins we were behind by two digits, so we knew the game would not be easy and the final result of 2-1 in the best of three proved it," Favarel said on the club's website.
He emphasized that the level and intensity had occurred since the first round of the playoffs , especially in the semifinal phase.
In addition, the opponent they will face later is Rans Simba Bogor, which is the team ranked third in the final standings of the last regular season.
Of course, he continued, the squad coached by Anthony Garbelotto also has high motivation to enter the final and become champions.
