Italian Serie A club Genoa announced the signing of defender Leo Ostigard from the French Ligue 1 club on loan in this summer's transfer window.
According to the club's official website on Wednesday, Genoa has loaned Ostigard for one year, with an additional obligation to buy him when the loan expires at the end of the season, if certain conditions are met.
According to a report on the Football Italia website, Genoa paid 8 million euros, or approximately Rp151 billion, to loan the Norwegian player from Rennes.
Leo Ostigard's arrival will add strength to Genoa's back line as they prepare for the Italian League season, which is scheduled to begin in August.
This isn't Ostigard's first time in a Genoa shirt, as he previously spent six months with the Rossoblu in 2022 on loan from Brighton.
