Manchester City announced the return of goalkeeper James Trafford from fellow Premier League club Burnley this summer on a permanent transfer.
Quoted from Sky Sports, Wednesday, Manchester City activated Trafford's buyback clause from Burnley for 27 million pounds or around Rp. 590 billion.
According to an announcement on the club's official website, the English player was given a five-year contract by Manchester City, or until June 2030.
Manchester City decided to bring him back to Trafford this summer after selling him to Burnley in 2023 to compete with Ederson Moraes for the first-choice goalkeeper position.
"Rejoining City is a very special and proud moment for me and my family. I've always dreamed of one day returning to Manchester City," said Trafford.
