The Indonesian U-17 National Team (Timnas) will continue its training camp (TC) in Spain, Yogyakarta, and Dubai after Bali to finalize its preparations for the U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
Indonesian U-17 National Team Head Coach Nova Arianto in Gianyar, Bali, Wednesday, explained his plan after the TC at the three locations to determine the final squad.
"After (Bali), we plan to have training camps in Spain, Yogyakarta, and Dubai, and we'll see our squad there at the end," Nova said during his team's training camp at the Bali United Training Center (BUTC), Gianyar Regency.
He explained that there are still several diaspora players who should have been included in the team for the U-17 World Cup in Qatar in November 2025, but are still unable to attend because they have to finish school in their respective countries.
The diaspora players are Lucas Lee in the United States, Nicholas Mjosund in Norway and goalkeeper Mike Rajasa in the Netherlands.
Currently, the coaching team continues to monitor the performance of the players who will be selected to enter the main Garuda Muda squad.
"We're still waiting to see what happens, but that's not our final squad for the World Cup," he said.
