Hamas: The occupation has failed to free its prisoners by force... and all that remains is a deal based on the resistance's terms.

In a press release, Hamas called for urgent popular and official action to save the starving in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that the occupation is accumulating failures in Gaza, and that its war is merely a reflection of its failures on all fronts. This historic battle will remain etched in the memory of the conflict, as a strategic turning point that reveals the growing fragility of this entity.

She continued, "These failures expose the occupation's crimes of murder, starvation, and genocide," noting that "the resistance, with its steadfastness and diverse tactics, confuses the enemy's calculations, seizes the initiative from him, and surprises him daily with new tactics that he is unable to understand or counter, despite his attempts to bring the people to their knees through starvation and siege."

She stated that "the famine imposed by Israel in Gaza represents a deliberate crime against humanity, in which food is used as a weapon of war to subjugate a resilient people," while calling for urgent popular and official action to "stop this heinous crime and save hundreds of thousands of starving people under siege."

This comes amid ongoing indirect negotiations in the Qatari capital, Doha, between Israel and Hamas, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, and supported by the United States.

Earlier, Hebrew media outlets, including Yedioth Ahronoth, revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his associates that his negotiating delegation would remain in Doha until a prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas and a ceasefire in Gaza were reached.

Since May 27, the death toll from a series of attacks targeting aid distribution areas established by Israel and the United States under the guise of "humanitarian aid" has risen to 877 martyrs and 5,666 wounded, as of Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide left more than 198,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and famine claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.
