Hebrew media reveals horrific details about the Israeli "Rakevet" prison, where elite Hamas and Hezbollah members are being held.

The authority said that "the wing is called Rakefet, and it is an underground facility surrounded by advanced surveillance cameras and strict security measures." It added, "Dozens of elite Hamas members and the special naval unit are being held in the wing, which opened about a year ago."

This facility also holds "members of Hezbollah's Radwan Force, who were arrested during the occupation army's operations on the Lebanese front."

Quoting an unnamed commander of the "Rakeft" wing, the broadcaster claimed that "the detained detainees participated in the attacks of October 7, 2023, and are among the most dangerous detainees," he said.

On that day, Hamas attacked military bases and settlements near Gaza, killing and capturing Israelis, in response to the "daily crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque," according to the movement.

The official added, "The wing is being operated as a pilot model, and is the first unit of its kind in the prison service. Guards there use identification cards with only numbers, without mentioning names, to preserve their confidentiality."

According to the broadcasting authority, "detainees are held in closed cells for 23 hours a day, and for the remaining hour they are allowed to go out into a small, enclosed concrete courtyard with limited sunlight."

She continued: "Detainees are prohibited from speaking to each other during this hour, which includes showering and walking. Large pictures of the destruction of Gaza are displayed on the walls of the yard, clearly visible to the detainees. No detainee is allowed to leave the wing for any purpose, whether to meet with a lawyer, receive medical treatment, or participate in a court session. Everything is carried out inside the wing," according to the commission.

The detention of Palestinians from Gaza in "Rakeft" had previously been reported, but at the time, details were limited regarding the harsh conditions of their detention.

On October 8, 2023, Israel launched an aggression against Lebanon, which escalated into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024, resulting in more than 4,000 martyrs and approximately 17,000 wounded.

Since the start of its war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has arrested thousands of Palestinians from the Strip. The fate of most of them remains unknown, while some have been martyred in Israeli prisons.

This genocide left more than 200,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, in addition to a famine that claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
