National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated the Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara High School and the Global Darussalam Academy High School in Yogyakarta, and expressed his hope that the students at both high schools would become future leaders of the nation.
"It is a great joy for us to gather together today to carry out the opening and inauguration of the joint class of the flagship school designed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to build a flagship school," said the National Police Chief, as quoted from a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday.
The four-star police general revealed that 11,000 children took part in the selection process to become students at the two leading schools.
Then, there were 120 children who passed to become students at Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara High School and 67 children who passed to Global Darussalam Academy High School.
The test materials used as the basis for assessment are Science, English, and Mathematics with a minimum score of 80. Students also undergo physical, psychological, and health tests.
"As the Chief of Police, I cannot interfere with these students' graduation. Therefore, they truly passed based on their genuine test results, and this is a good hope for all of us," he said.
The Chief of Police also hopes that students from these two leading schools can become the next generation of police cadres who will lead the nation and achieve success at home and abroad.
In addition, the Chief of Police hopes that the students can become a generation that is smart, intelligent, and ready to fill and become key players in Golden Indonesia 2045. He also likened the students at these two leading schools to pearls.
"You are scattered pearls, and now we can find them. Like gold, you are being nurtured to become 24-karat gold.
