Indonesia dominated the first day by defeating Macau at BAJC 2025.

After sweeping to a clean sweep over Myanmar in their opening match, the Indonesian team continued their dominance in the 2025 Asian Junior Badminton Championships (BAJC) by defeating Macau in their second Group B match at the Manahan Indoor Sports Hall, Solo.

In contrast to the first match, this time Indonesia fielded an almost entirely different line-up.

Several key players, such as Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah, Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan, and other pairs who previously competed in the men's and women's doubles events, were given a rest.

The coach entrusted other players to play against Macau, leaving only mixed doubles player Luna Rianty Saffana who appeared twice with Kenzie Yoe and Theodorus Steve Kurniawan.

The rotation strategy worked quite smoothly, despite some initial resistance. Indonesia lost in the first match, but quickly recovered and secured a 110–72 victory.

Indonesia's dominance was evident in the points earned per match. Each of the host team's representatives collected points convincingly, especially in the fourth to eighth matches, when the points gap began to widen.

With this result, Indonesia leads Group B of the 2025 BAJC with two perfect wins. They will next face Singapore on Saturday (July 19) in their third match of the group stage.
