The Indonesian U-23 national team will face the Thai U-23 national team in the semifinals of the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Indonesia secured a place in the semifinals after topping Group A of the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship with seven points from three matches, according to AFF records.
Gerald Vanenburg's squad secured the title of Group A champion of the ASEAN U-23 Championship after defeating Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines, and holding Malaysia to a draw.
Meanwhile, Thailand advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship after finishing first in Group C with four points from two matches, after defeating Timor Leste and drawing with Myanmar.
This will be a repeat of the semifinal match of the 2023 ASEAN U-23 Championship, where Indonesia defeated Thailand 3-1 at the Rayong Province Stadium, Rayong, on August 24, 2023.
