The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), is currently preparing two regulations related to artificial intelligence ( AI ) to ensure its governance at both the government and public levels can run more optimally.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria stated that the two regulations consist of AI governance regulations for multi-sectors and other regulations related to Indonesia's national AI roadmap.
"With this set of regulations, I believe we can provide a reference for all stakeholders who want to develop AI technology. For the public who want to use this technology, we can also navigate and mitigate the risks," said Nezar Patria in a statement confirmed
