Indonesia was relegated after losing to Lebanon in the Women's Asian Cup.

The Indonesian national basketball team was forced to be relegated from Division A, after losing 57-67 against Lebanon in the International Basketball Federation Women's Asia Cup at the Shenzhen Sports Center, China.

According to FIBA statistics, Lebanon's two key players, Rebecca Akl and Jillian Archer, performed brilliantly and decided the outcome of the match in the final minutes.

Archer scored from close range before captain Akl hit a crucial three-pointer that gave Lebanon a 63-57 lead with 1 minute and 15 seconds remaining.

Garuda Pertiwi managed to narrow the gap to one point after trailing 49-58, but failed to maintain that momentum.

Faizzatus Shoimah's mistake in committing a turnover was exploited by Lebanon, who further pulled ahead through two free throws from Akl.

A similar effort from Amar Mansour with 12.9 seconds remaining further secured Lebanon's victory and their escape from relegation to Division B.
