Hebrew and American media: Mossad chief asked Washington to support a plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza.

Barnea met last week in Washington with US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and asked him to help implement a plan to deport hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza. He asked for help convincing countries such as Libya, Ethiopia, and Indonesia to accept them in exchange for incentives offered by Tel Aviv to these countries.

In the same context, the American website Axios reported that the director of Mossad made an official visit to Washington this week, at a time when Israel is seeking support from the administration of US President Donald Trump to open a path for the deportation of Gaza residents.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently warned of the dangers of what it described as a plan to forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza under the guise of the "Humanitarian City" project in Rafah, considering this course of action to be part of a policy of mass displacement that violates international law.
