West Bank: One killed by Israeli occupation forces, injuries reported in Jenin crackdown, and settlers kill dozens of sheep.

The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that 13-year-old Amr Ali Khaled Qabha died of his wounds after being shot by the occupation forces in the town of Ya'bad. The agency noted that the occupation forces fired live bullets at the child while he was on one of the town's streets.

The occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the child, Qabha, to provide him with medical treatment. They severely beat his father and detained him while he was trying to reach his son.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed in a statement that the Israeli occupation army prevented its crews from reaching the injured child, before later announcing his death.

Meanwhile, 13 Palestinians suffered suffocation when the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a march denouncing its control of the summit of Mount al-Salama in the town of Raba, near Jenin.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society noted that its crews "treated 13 people suffering from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation, as a result of the occupation forces' suppression of a march in the town of Raba, near Jenin," explaining that all injuries were treated on the spot.

Earlier, hundreds of Palestinians performed Friday prayers near Mount al-Salama in the town of Raba and headed to its summit, at the invitation of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission and the town council.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the participants, leading to clashes with a number of them.

For several days, Israeli bulldozers have been bulldozing the mountaintop to establish a military post and settlement outpost, a move rejected by the Palestinians.

In a related context, the head of the Northern Jordan Valley Council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, stated in a statement that Israeli settlers "carried out a massacre" against 117 sheep in the Northern Jordan Valley, northeastern occupied West Bank.

Draghmeh explained that "settlers surrounded sheep in the Al-Shak area in the northern Jordan Valley at dawn on Friday, killing 117 sheep with knives and live bullets," describing the incident as "criminal and organized terrorism targeting the Palestinian presence in the Jordan Valley."

He continued: "The settlers surrounded the sheep during the night hours until Friday morning in the Al-Shak area," stressing that "the residents were later able to recover part of the flock after the settlers fled. The incident constitutes a targeting of entire (Palestinian) families who depend on livestock for their survival."

In parallel with the annihilation of Gaza, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,000 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 7,000 others, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 198,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that has claimed the lives of many.
