Indonesia will give its all at the ASEAN U-23 Championship

Indonesian U-23 national team coach Gerald Vanenburg confirmed that his team will give their all in the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship which will begin with a match against Brunei Darussalam in the first match of Group A at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

"I think when we play in a tournament, we always try and think that we have to give everything," Vanenburg said at a press conference with the three other coaches of the teams in Group A at SUGBK on Monday.

After facing Brunei, Indonesia will face the Philippines on Friday (July 18th), and finally Malaysia on Monday (July 21st). All matches will be played at the GBK Complex in Jakarta, starting at 8:00 PM WIB.

When asked further, the 61-year-old coach wants to sweep all three matches in Group A to ensure they advance to the semifinals and repeat the achievement of Indonesia when they won this tournament in 2019 in Cambodia under Indra Sjafri.
