The Directorate of General Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police revealed that the server managers and marketing of online gambling networks in China and Cambodia located in Bogor, Bekasi, and Tangerang earned profits of up to IDR 20 billion.
"The profits earned by the online gambling server managers and marketers at each of the arrest locations (Bogor, Bekasi, Tangerang) were around Rp15-20 billion over a period of approximately 10 months," said Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, Director of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday.
The one-star police general also revealed that the server managers were assisted in carrying out their actions by operators who received salaries of IDR 7–10 million per month.
In uncovering this case, the Directorate of General Crimes arrested 22 suspects, including NKP, who was in charge of financial administration, and RA, DN, and AN, who were in charge of server management and marketing for Judol.
