Indonesia's steps to prepare itself to become Southeast Asia's "Silicon Valley"

 

 The Indonesian government has reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a digital technology innovation hub like Silicon Valley for the Southeast Asian region by preparing steps to introduce digital innovation based on local wisdom.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Ismail, emphasized that the innovation center will develop a different model and align with the growing local wisdom in the region.

"The ambition to become the Silicon Valley of Southeast Asia is not to imitate, but rather to build a unique Indonesian model with inclusive innovations, grounded in local wisdom, and oriented toward values," Ismail said.
