Apple is rumored to be using a different frame on the iPhone 17 Air compared to other models in the iPhone 17 series.
This news comes from Apple analyst Jeff Pu based on a MacRumors report, which said the iPhone 17 Air will use a titanium frame.
This was found in a note with equity research firm GF Securities to investors this week, which stated that other models of the iPhone 17, such as the regular iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, will use an aluminum frame.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Air will apparently be the only one in this series to use a different frame made of titanium.
It has not been explained why the iPhone 17 Air will use a titanium frame because aluminum actually has a suitable match with circulating rumors that this phone will have a super thin design.
