Indonesian women's singles badminton player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung admitted she is still not satisfied with her performance even though she just made it through the round of 16 of the BWF Tour Super 1000 China Open 2025.
The athlete, familiarly known as Jorji, advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Taiwanese representative Lin Hsiang Ti in two straight games, 21-13 and 21-14 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou, Thursday.
Jorji is grateful to have secured a ticket to the quarter-finals even though his performance is still not optimal.
"I'm definitely grateful to be back in the quarterfinals, considering that just a while ago, just getting back to training felt so hard. But I'm not satisfied with this. I want to give my best tomorrow," Grego said in a post-match statement received.
