KOI encourages athletes to be financially literate to build a future

The Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) encouraged athletes to build their future by equipping them with knowledge about financial planning through a talk show titled "Play, Plan, Prosper" held at the KOI office.

The activity, initiated by the KOI Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Commission, is part of the KOI initiative to raise awareness of the importance of preparing athletes for their life transition after retiring from professional sports.

"We often hear in the news stories of athletes struggling to adapt after retirement. Through this initiative, we want every athlete, regardless of gender or background, to have an equal opportunity to achieve prosperity," said Zavnura Pingkan, Chair of the Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Commission, when opening the talk show.
