Anthony Ginting is reluctant to set a high target for the 2025 World Championships

Indonesian men's singles badminton player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting admitted he is reluctant to set lofty targets for the 2025 World Championships in Paris, France, August 25–31, even though he has now fully recovered from injury.

After a six-month absence, Ginting returned to action at the Super 750 Japan Open and the Super 1000 China Open. However, he failed to progress far in both tournaments and was eliminated in the first round.

"I'm satisfied that my hand is fine, there's no pain, so that's the main thing. But when it comes to performance, I'm personally not too satisfied, not yet like before the injury," Ginting told reporters at the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center.
