The General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia directly monitored the logistical readiness of the re-vote for the election of the governor and deputy governor of Papua, at the KPU Office in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province.
KPU RI Commissioner for Logistics and Finance Division Yulianto Sudrajat in Sentani, Thursday, said this monitoring was to ensure that all stages and preparations run smoothly ahead of the voting day on August 6, 2025.
"We from the KPU RI are here today to ensure that all stages of logistical preparation run smoothly and without obstacles," he said.
According to Yulianto, the stages of sorting, folding, arranging and packaging logistics will be strictly monitored so that distribution to all TPS is on time and without delay.
"We want to ensure that distribution to polling stations can run on time so that voters can get good service on election day," he said.
He explained that the Indonesian KPU has also coordinated intensively with the Papua Provincial KPU, regional governments, and Forkopimda to strengthen synergy in implementing the PSU in Papua.
"Synergy between the KPU and stakeholders in the regions is very important in ensuring the smooth running of the re-voting process," he said again.
He added that in addition to monitoring logistics, his party had also held an evaluation meeting with the Papua KPU ranks and regional government elements to update information on the latest stages.
