Indonesian men's doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana opened their campaign at the 2025 BWF World Tour Super 1000 China Open with a convincing victory over Japanese pair Takumi Nomura/Yuichi Shimogami at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Changzhou.
The eighth seeds won in straight games 21-17, 21-17 in 39 minutes. This victory quenched Leo/Bagas' thirst, having previously been eliminated in the first round in their last three tournaments.
