Aspinall defends heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) promoter announced that heavyweight champion (120.2) Tom Aspinall will defend his title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321.

"UFC CEO Dana White has announced the fight will take place on October 25, 2025, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi," the MMA Fighting website reported, as quoted in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The announcement answers Aspinall's long wait to return to action inside the octagon.

The British champion last fought in July 2024, when he retained his interim heavyweight title with a resounding first-round victory over Cutris Blaydes.

Since then, Aspinall could only wait in the hope that he could finally unify the titles with the then heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.
