Director General of Digital Ecosystem of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Edwin Hidayat Abdullah explained the urgency of structuring the related telecommunications ecosystem so that the industry can support the government in fulfilling the national digital transformation.
In an online discussion entitled "Managing Industrial Health and Telecommunication Connectivity" which was attended from Jakarta, Thursday, Edwin mentioned several problems that need to be addressed in organizing the telecommunications ecosystem in Indonesia, including those related to infrastructure management such as fiber optic cable management to improving the quality of internet networks to accommodate the use of the latest technology.
"Based on the study of field conditions, it can be seen that the national telecommunications industry is currently facing serious challenges, related to the inequality in the distribution of connectivity providers, so that efforts need to be made to organize the health of the telecommunications industry and connectivity," said Edwin.
