OJK trains 1,100 Kowani members to improve financial literacy





 The Financial Services Authority through the Training of Trainers Program of OJK Driving Indonesian Financial Literacy Ambassadors provided training to 1,100 members of the Indonesian Women's Congress spread across various regions in a hybrid manner .

Chief Executive of the Financial Services Business Actors' Behavior Supervisory Agency, Education and Consumer Protection of OJK Friderica Widyasari Dewi said that the Training for Trainers activity aims to provide financial literacy skills as essential life skills that must be mastered by Indonesian mothers and women.

"This material is expected to be shared with all Indonesian children, so that the knowledge gained from here should not be taken alone, but mothers will become trainers , coaches, spreaders of goodness, successors of knowledge for these children, mothers, and especially for themselves," said Friderica in her statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Several topics presented in the Training for Trainers include an introduction to OJK, being aware of online loans and illegal investments, personal and family financial management, and an introduction to financial products and services, namely mutual funds.

Friderica also reminded of the important role of housewives who can accelerate the level of family financial literacy and contribute positively to realizing future welfare.

"All Kowani members are agents of change and agents of development as the driving force of change in our community, so we really hope that they will provide education, convey education, and information about financial services to the community," said Friderica.
