The Presidential Security Forces of the Republic of Indonesia continues to strive to improve the professionalism of soldiers in carrying out security duties.
According to the Commander of the Presidential Security Forces Major General TNI Edwin Adrian Sumantha when confirmed, this is important so that the Presidential Security Forces can carry out their duties well and with full responsibility.
Several methods will be carried out to improve the professionalism of soldiers, one of which is by giving awards to outstanding soldiers.
"An objective reward and punishment system will be implemented in the Paspampres environment to maintain discipline and work spirit among soldiers," said Edwin.
With the existence of this award system, Edwin hopes that the troops' enthusiasm will be spurred to give their best in carrying out their duties of securing the president.
Apart from being based on professionalism, Edwin also asked all members to make Astacita the main guideline in carrying out state duties.
"Personnel must adhere to Astacita, as a daily command containing eight main values, namely Amanah, solid, tough, anticipatory, fast, innovative, totality, adaptive," explained the former Seskoad Commander.
With these guidelines, Edwin hopes that all his troops can perform optimally in carrying out state security duties.
