Indonesian League 1 club Persis Solo has officially announced the arrival of wing-back Ibrahim Sanjaya to compete in the upcoming 2025/26 season.
Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Persis Solo explained that the former PSS Sleman player received a one-year contract with Laskar Sambernyawa.
Ibrahim revealed that the historical factors of the Persis Solo team and the fanatical support of the supporters were the reasons he joined the squad coached by Peter de Roo.
"As a player, I see Persis as a big team and has a very large fan base. That's what made me interested in joining here," said Ibrahim.
The player who was born on August 26, 1997 promised that he would give his best to Persis Solo to achieve the desired achievements.
Ibrahim also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from loyal Laskar Sambernyawa supporters and hoped that the club could achieve brilliant achievements this season.
"With the abilities that I have, I want to give my best for the team and what is expected by this team. For the supporters, thank you for the welcome. What is clear, keep supporting Persis Solo. Hopefully Persis will be even more glorious and successful in this year's competition," he concluded.
In the season, Ibrahim Sanjaya played for the Indonesian League 1 club Madura United and appeared in 24 matches in various events and recorded 1,486 minutes of playing time.
