PKB forms a cadre development agency, ready to recruit 189,000 new cadres in 2025

The Central Executive Board of the National Awakening Party has established the National Cadre Development Institute and is ready to recruit around 189,000 new cadres by 2025.

The figure is based on data submitted by the Chairman of the LKN DPP PKB Zainul Munasichin.

Initially, he said that the LKN DPP PKB was targeting to hold cadre training for 3,600 classes by the end of 2025, with each class consisting of 70 participants.

He then explained that the LKN DPP PKB carries out cadre development in two schemes, namely for structural cadres such as branch and sub-branch administrators, and non-structural or new cadres targeting generation Z to millennials.

"We previously stated that there are 3,600 members. Of those, 900 are structural members, and the remaining 2,700 members will be non-structural PKB members," Zainul said.

Thus, 2,700 batches consisting of around 70 participants will enable PKB to recruit 189,000 new cadres.

"These are new bases, young people, that we have deliberately designed to be a crucial part of the PKB's 2029 winning process," he said.

According to him, Gen Z and millennials are the targets for new PKB cadres because they will dominate the number of voters in 2029.

Meanwhile, he revealed that the LKN DPP PKB will be inaugurated directly by the General Chairperson of the DPP PKB Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin, namely in Jakarta on July 14, 2025.

The inauguration, he said, was also in the context of the 27th anniversary of PKB.
