Indonesian electronics company Polytron announced plans to release its first laptop product on August 5, 2025.
Information regarding the specifications and price of Polytron's first laptop has not been disclosed, it will be announced when the product is launched.
"The launch of this product grew out of our consumers' aspirations for us to complete our product categories to support their productivity, whether for work, study, or creativity, with practical and reliable devices," said Polytron Commercial Director Tekno Wibowo as quoted in the company's press release.
Polytron was previously widely known as a manufacturer of household electronic products as well as audio and video products.
However, the company recently diversified its business by entering the electric vehicle market.
After its electric car line received a warm welcome from consumers in May 2025, the company used the momentum to launch its first laptop product.
