Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is making a state visit to Saudi Arabia to discuss a number of issues in the Middle East region and plans to build a hajj village for Indonesian pilgrims in that country.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, who accompanied President Prabowo on his departure at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Tuesday, said that Saudi Arabia was the first country visited on the President's state visit before continuing to Brazil.
"There are several agendas that will be discussed by the two heads of state. They will definitely talk about political cooperation, both Indonesian politics with Saudi Arabia and politics in the Middle East," said Prasetyo.
Prasetyo explained that President Prabowo is currently improving the implementation of the 2026 Hajj, including special placement for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in the Mecca Hajj Village, Saudi Arabia.
