Samsung Electronics Co., announced that it has acquired the US-based digital health technology company Xealth, in an effort to expand its health information technology (IT) ecosystem.
According to Samsung Electronics, the acquisition agreement was signed the day before, and the acquisition process is expected to be completed by the end of this year, as quoted by Yonhap, Tuesday (8/7).
Xealth, a digital health startup that spun off from Providence Health System in 2026, provides a platform that integrates various digital health tools and care programs for healthcare providers.
