In a statement posted on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Monday, the organization condemned the massacre that occurred on Sunday, when Israel killed six children waiting for water and injured others. It emphasized that the British people "will not remain silent about their government's complicity in arms transfers to Israel."
The statement added: "The British government must immediately suspend all arms shipments to Israel, including parts used in the manufacture of F-35 fighter jets, which are used to kill and maim children."
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that 120 Palestinians, including children, were killed while waiting to fill water tanks, while 557 others were injured, as part of the genocide Israel has been waging against Gaza for 21 months.
The government media office in Gaza reported on Monday that Israel is waging a systematic war of deprivation against the population of the Gaza Strip, perpetrating 112 massacres against water-filling queues, resulting in the deaths of more than 700 Palestinians, most of them children, since October 7, 2023.
Gaza has been facing a severe water crisis since last March, after the fuel needed to operate the remaining water wells ran out, in addition to the systematic destruction of water infrastructure.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued its war of extermination against the people of Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, with open American support, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
This genocide left more than 196,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine ravaging the Gaza Strip's population, especially children.
