Telkomsel plans to expand its 5G network coverage in Bandung on Monday, July 21, 2025, following previous expansion in several cities across Indonesia.
"Later on Monday (July 21, 2025), we will launch the 5G expansion in Bandung," said Telkomsel Vice President of Corporate Communications & CSR Saki H. Bramono after a press conference for the launch of Simpati TikTok in South Jakarta, Tuesday.
Saki explained that the new 5G network expansion will soon be carried out to cover the Bandung City area. While committed to continuing to expand 5G network coverage in various regions, Telkomsel remains selective and applies a cautious principle in its implementation.
"Yesterday, we already (expanded the 5G network) in Batam, before that in Makassar, then Bandung. So, we're continuing the expansion while assessing the needs. There are many parameters," he said.
