The 2025 National Esports League will be more inclusive

The Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI) is once again holding the 2025 National Esports League, which will take place from July 23 to November 29, in a more inclusive manner.

Unlike previous editions, this year's National Esports League has no qualifiers for professional teams, meaning that all teams that register have an equal chance.

"The National Esports League is a symbol of our commitment to building a structured, inclusive, and sustainable competitive ecosystem in Indonesia," said Gloria Famiella, Deputy Chair of the Competition Division of PB ESI, in a press conference at the PB ESI office in Jakarta on Tuesday.

"Starting with League 3, League 2, which attracts tens of thousands of athletes and thousands of teams from all over the archipelago, the highest peak will be League 1, where the 12 best teams, including two promoted teams from League 2, will compete."

The 2025 National Esports League will feature only one game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), as it is considered the most popular and sought-after game. However, the National Esports League aims to remain inclusive by opening up to other game developers.
