  Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Habiburokhman, believes that the Indonesian National Police and the Attorney General's Office have no objections to the revision of the Criminal Procedure Code strengthening the role of advocates.

Since the discussion, he admitted that he had discussed the matter with the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

According to Habiburokhman in Jakarta on Thursday, National Police Chief Sigit expressed his approval of the points that would balance the role of the state and the rights of those in conflict with the law.

"Until now, the state has been so powerful , but citizens have been so low on power . They have absolutely no power ," said Habiburokhman at the parliamentary complex.

He also did not deny that the articles in the revised Criminal Procedure Code would reduce the power of the state, in this case the National Police investigators.
