A number of representatives from the host nation PB Jaya Raya are keeping their hopes of winning the title alive in the 2025 Yonex-Sunrise Jaya Raya Junior International Grand Prix tournament, after securing a place in the final which will take place at the PB Jaya Raya Sports Hall, Bintaro, South Tangerang.
In the U-17 women's singles, Miftaqul Putri Ayudis of Jaya Raya pulled off a dramatic victory over Riska Melani Putri (Exist) 21-17, 12-21, 21-18. Putri had trailed 11-17 in the deciding game, but rallied to seal the victory.
"My coach told me not to give up. I kept trying, and thank God I won," Putri said in a written statement received
