The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its crews treated three injuries during the Israeli occupation army's raid on several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus.
She explained that among the cases, one was shot in the foot with live ammunition, and two were injured by the occupation forces, who assaulted them and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the Ma'ajin neighborhood, west of Nablus. The witnesses also indicated that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, raided Palestinian homes, and arrested at least three young men.
Israeli forces, backed by bulldozers, also stormed the Far'a refugee camp, south of Tubas, and began raiding homes and shops, according to eyewitnesses.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that a 26-year-old man was shot in the foot with live ammunition during clashes that erupted on Fatayer Street in Nablus and was taken to hospital for treatment.
On Wednesday afternoon, the occupation forces also stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, according to eyewitnesses.
In the same context, the Israeli army arrested a number of Palestinians in cities and towns in the West Bank, concentrated in the city of Hebron, according to local sources.
In addition, the occupation army imposed a siege on two Palestinian hospitals in the city of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, at midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday.
The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that "occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus, surrounded Rafidia Hospital, and took up positions near the emergency entrances, while firing sound bombs. They also surrounded the Arab Specialized Hospital."
Eyewitnesses also reported that Israeli military vehicles simultaneously stormed Nablus, headed towards Rafidia and Arab hospitals, and surrounded them.
Witnesses had no information about the reasons for storming the city and besieging the two hospitals.
In parallel with the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, killed more than 1,002 Palestinians, injured nearly 7,000, and arrested more than 18,000, according to Palestinian data.
In early March, the first phase of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel concluded. The agreement, which went into effect on January 19, was brokered by Egypt and Qatar and supported by the United States, and the Palestinian movement adhered to it.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, evaded the start of the second phase and resumed the genocide in Gaza on March 18, in deference to the most extreme faction within his right-wing government, according to Hebrew media.
With full American support, Israel has been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 201,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.
