Minister of Transmigration Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara provided training to participants of the West Sulawesi Provincial Government retreat, which was held at the 142/Taroada Tarogau Military Resort Command Headquarters.
"I appreciate Governor Suhardi Duka's invitation to attend and provide guidance to the participants of this retreat," said the Minister of Transportation in Mamuju, Friday.
The three-day retreat, from July 18-20, 2025, will be attended by 50 participants, including heads of regional apparatus organizations (OPD), expert staff, and experts from the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Sulawesi.
The Minister of Transmigration hopes that this retreat will create a new mindset, emphasizing that transmigration is no longer merely a matter of population movement, but rather a way to improve welfare and build new, inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
"More importantly, we need to see how leadership emerges from this retreat, both from department heads and regional heads. The Governor will design a more comprehensive framework to ensure accountability, including in overseeing programs and budgets," he said.
