TikTok has launched a number of new features, including improved parental controls and additional tools for creators, as well as interactive features focused on digital well-being.
one of the main updates is the Family Pairing feature, which allows parents to link their accounts with their children's accounts to adjust security settings.
Parents can now block specific accounts from interacting with their child's account. Blocked accounts will also not appear in the teen's timeline.
Additionally, parents will automatically receive notifications every time their child posts a video, story, or photo publicly. TikTok describes this as a way to help parents stay informed about their child's activities without hindering their creativity.
Parents will also have more visibility into the privacy settings chosen by teen users, such as whether the download feature is enabled or whether their followers list is visible to other users.
