Ferrari Team Principal Frederic Vasseur is targeting his team to improve its performance in the Hungarian Grand Prix (GP), following the Belgian GP race held at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit.
According to him, Ferrari still has a lot of room for improvement, especially in maximizing performance from the start, even though Charles Leclerc managed to achieve third place and fifth podium finish this season.
"The team atmosphere remains positive, even though the results weren't what we had hoped for, especially for Lewis Hamilton in qualifying yesterday," Vasseur told the Formula 1 website.
He believes that Leclerc's achievement, finishing behind two McLaren drivers, and Hamilton's, starting the race from the pit lane after an incident in qualifying and finishing seventh after overtaking 11 cars, can still be improved in the future.
